Where in the world is carmen san diego?

Pop Music.
No matter who you are, there's no avoiding it's penetrating blows.
Chris Brown, Rihanna, Mariah, JT (Justin Timberlake), Usher, that sick Perry chick (what a convenient rhyme, almost too convenient...); these comprise the face of what is now considered the "pop" genre, aka, junk.
My mind was polluted for hours on end, much to my dismay, for the duration of the last work week, by this filthy slew of pop junk as I and my faux-painting counterparts were barraged with the persistence of monotony: XM satellite radio's top twenty station. Not only was the station itself was repetitive, but each song in and of itself exhibited superfluous amounts of "shorty I can take you there"s and "in this club"s and "touch my body"s. My favorite was that painfully delicious melody of "with you, with you, with you, with you, with you," and again "with you, with you, with you, with you, with you," Someone shoot me!!!

Let's Get Down to the Gnitty Gritty

Does nitty have a G in front of it???

Artwork in my studio: look closely, and perhaps you will find what your heart desires, like a magic 8 ball, or a witch's bubbling cauldron, or even a fancy-shmancy hand-held mirror, it's really quite paranormal.

Here's an almost finished painting I'm working on of my Great Aunt Virgie:

Freakin' Cute Bambinos

I love thes little tikes so much.

Does anyone care? Freak, I don't know. But, I seem to be using the word freak a lot when it comes to innocent small children, so maybe I'M the freak constantly in reference...huh...

Style through the ages...

No, that's not how old my grandmother is, she's like 87 or something, idiot. That's the age of the dress I'm fabulously exhibiting in the adjacent picture. I know I know, HOLY CRAP, right?
My Grandmother, Shirley Barbara Oleson at the time, wore this beautiful gown, made even more beautiful by my presence within its walls, in 1944 to her graduate dinner dance. Now we know where I get my hot style from. Sexy, right?

Perrizzle In Da House

Yesterday was Stake Conference for my good old home stake.
I sang some delicious melodies with the choir so I could sit five feet behind Elder Perry. Yes, Elder Perry. What a cutie! A very tall cutie. He was awesome and jovial in both the adult session and the general session. He railed on us for not spreading the gospel and told us the same thing would happen to us that happened in the Book of Mormon if we didn't build the kingdom of God. He said it was necessary to protect the promised land from being taken from us. I thought that was pretty interesting, right? Afterward I got to shake is hand, as well as Elder Courbridge of the Seventy.
